Steering Committee Formed for CA Clean Air Day

Leaders from across the state from the public and private sector have come together to create the largest day of action around clean air the state of California has ever seen. California Clean Air Day is led by a statewide Steering Committee that includes representatives from business, non-profits, transit agencies, and other public agencies. Some of the early members of the steering committee include individuals representing the Foothill Transit Agency, City of San Francisco, Honda, LA Metro, SoCalGas, Blue Shield, Lyft, Bay Area AQMD, LADWP, and Dignity Health.

The Steering Committee bring expertise on engagement, air quality, and communications to support the development and execution of California Clean Air Day. The work of the Steering Committee brings to light different issues that affect different parts of the state and allows this statewide effort to reflect the diversity of the Golden State. As a whole community effort, the California Clean Air Day’s Steering Committee leads this effort with a deep understanding of who the beneficiaries of cleaner air in our state are, and how we can work to bring clean air to all Californians.
