Clean Air Day Orgs Launch 2023 Earth Day Events

We’re proud to have had nearly 200 nonprofit partners participate in last year’s California Clean Air Day. Although #CleanAirDayCA may not take place until the first week of October, their work advocating, inspiring, educating and elevating communities happens all year long. 

On the 53rd Anniversary of Earth Day, we invite you to join them as they bring communities together throughout California to practice sustainability through eco-friendly activities that promote cleaner air for all:  

 

Los Angeles Area: 

Recycle2Riches (R2R) will be hosting an Earth Day Summit on April 21st at the California Market Center in Los Angeles, CA. 

The Niles Foundation will be hosting an Earth Month Clean Up Day on April 29th in Los Angeles, CA. 

 

Central Valley Area: 

Tracy Earth Project is sponsoring two Earth Day events in Tracy, CA: The Community Clean Up and Tree Planting on April 22nd, and the Tracy Earth Day Bike Show on April 29th. 

Butte Environmental Council will be hosting the Endangered Earth Event on April 22nd in Chico, CA. 

 

Central Coast Area: 

The Central Coast Clean Cities Coalition (C5) and the Santa Barbara County APCD are hosting the Santa Barbara Earth Day Green Car Show on April 29th and 30th and the San Luis Obispo Drive Electric Earth Day e-Mobility Fair on April 22nd. 

 

Bay Area: 

Ride and Drive Clean is offering two Earth Month EV and Ebike Shows: The EV and Ebike Show at Earth Day Marin (Mill Valley) on April 23rd and the Alameda EV and Ebike Show on April 29th 

Groundwork Richmond will help host a tree planting Earth Day Celebration on April 22nd in Richmond, CA. 

Rich City Rides will be hosting the Richmond San Rafael Bridge Trail Ride on April 22nd at 2:30 pm at the Richmond BART Plaza. 

Visit the City of Oakland’s Volunteer Registration for information on how to become involved in Earth Day celebrations throughout Oakland, CA.
